Before + after photos
pictures of a Coastal deck restoration.
Below are a series of pictures showing a cedar deck that had been stained by umbrella stands and deck furniture. The deck was sanded, the stains were treated with a wood brightener, then the deck was sealed with a pigmented stain. The results speak for themselves.
pictures of a front yard fence repair.
Below is a series of photos showing the different phases of a fence repair. The fence was buried in bush and soil creating dry rot in the front yard in Kentfield, CA. You’ll notice through the progression of these photos where I reconstructed the fence framing, filled nail holes, sanded and painted the fence so it looks like new.
STEP 1: Soil to wood contact has created dry rot on a nice fence.
STEP 2: Nail holes filled and the fence was ready for primer.
FINAL: The repaired fence is primed and ready to paint.
pictures of a double door painting project.
Below is a set of double doors I restored at Stinson Beach, CA. My client wasn’t sure if they should restore these or if they should buy new ones, and I immediately knew they were worth saving. The old paint had certainly seen better days, but by using a color formula the owner had shared, I was able to create a new high gloss paint. I prepped and primed the old doors and finished painted them with two coats of this beautiful deep blue custom color.
BEFORE: Weathered double doors
AFTER: High gloss oil based paint.
pictures of a Dining room addition with stained wood ceiling
In this series of photos, you’ll notice a dining room addition in its various stages. The dining room is prepped, primed, the walls are painted, and the trim is painted with an oil-based satin finish. The wood ceiling is stained, and a clear coat is applied once everything is in place. The last photo shows the dining room fully furnished with the chandelier and hardware.
This is how the dining room looked as it was handed to me for painting.
I’ve stained the wooden features attached to the skylight and ceiling.
Preparation and priming begins.
Here’s a photo of the finished dining room. Note the oil based painting on the trim and windows.
pictures of teak patio furniture restoration.
Here’s a teak furniture restoration project I completed for a customer in Tiburon, CA. Can you pick out the restored pieces from the before photos below? The owner’s spouse wanted to throw the old, weathered furniture away but by restoring it, I saved them thousands of dollars.
An example of exterior painting by Anthony Martin painting.
Here’s an exterior restoration project I completed in Mill Valley, CA. Some of the windows and doors were replaced by the general contractor where other original features were repaired and painted. The results were pretty dramatic as you can see from the photos below.
